Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says missiles developed by the Ukrainian company Fire Point could be combat-ready within 2–3 months. He spoke about the timeline on Ukraine’s state television channel on Saturday.

The statement points to progress in Ukraine’s domestic defence industry, with combat readiness meaning the system could move closer to operational use in wartime conditions. Iltalehti reported that Zelenskyy confirmed the estimate in the interview, but no further details were given about the missiles’ development stage.
