Uber Eats is expanding its service to eight new cities in Finland. According to the company, customers can now place orders in Vantaa, Kuopio, Turku, Oulu, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Lahti and Lappeenranta.
The move broadens the platform’s reach beyond the biggest urban centres. Uber Eats says around 400 local restaurants and shops are now part of the service, including Picnic, Subway, Friends & Burgers, Huuva and K grocery stores.
The app allows users to order both meals and groceries. For consumers, the expansion means more delivery options; for local businesses, it could mean greater visibility in cities where the service has not previously been available on the same scale.
