Several people were left stuck on the Star Flyer ride at Tykkimäki amusement park on Sunday afternoon. The ride stopped at roughly 30 metres above the ground, and the situation is ongoing at the park.

According to Ilta-Sanomat, the Kymenlaakso Rescue Department is at the scene, while Iltalehti reports that people are being lowered from the ride using a lift platform. The confirmed information at this stage says the ride remains stationary, and no further details have been given about what caused the stoppage.

Rescue crews are continuing their work at Tykkimäki as officials handle the situation.
