Teen driver allowed to keep homemade sofa e-scooter

Police had stopped the unusual build, but the vehicle will remain with the driver. A photo of the sofa-based scooter would fit the story well.

A teenage driver who police had been looking for for more than six months is allowed to keep a homemade sofa e-scooter. HBL reports that the unusual vehicle had drawn attention, but it will now stay with the driver.

Police had previously intervened to stop the build, yet the long-running case has now been settled in the driver’s favour. According to HBL, the unconventional creation will not be taken into official custody.
