George Russell won the Formula 1 race in Baku by a razor-thin margin of just 0.2 seconds. The result gave Mercedes a major success, but it also underlined how close the fight remains at the top.

According to HS, Kimi Antonelli’s championship lead was reduced after the Baku race, even though Mercedes collected valuable points. Valtteri Bottas, meanwhile, continued to have a difficult run and did not find the pace he needed.

The race in Baku showed once again how little separates the front-runners this season. Mercedes secured the win, but the result did not change the broader title battle in any decisive way.
