Man who jumped from Puumala bridge into Lake Saimaa found dead

Eastern Finland Police said the body was found in the water on Friday morning, July 31. The deceased was identified as the same man who jumped from the Puumala bridge a week earlier.

A man who jumped from the bridge in Puumala into Lake Saimaa has been found dead, according to Eastern Finland Police. The police received a report of a body found in the water on Friday morning at 8.30 a.m.

The deceased was identified as the same person who had jumped from the Puumala bridge on Friday, July 24. Police have not released further details at this stage, and no additional information has been made public about what happened after the jump.
