The discussion took place in Helsinki and centred on political responsibility over the project’s financing. Yle News reported that the vote came after the unusually long session, which kept lawmakers occupied for most of the day.

The result gives Orpo’s government immediate parliamentary support, but the controversy around Garden Helsinki remains the issue that prompted the emergency debate in the first place.
