One person has been killed in Ukrainian attacks on areas near the Russian city of Belgorod, while the Moscow region came under an unusually large drone assault overnight. According to the reported figures, more than 430 Ukrainian drones were directed at the region around the Russian capital.

HBL says the attacks took place during the night and affected two separate areas in Russia. The only confirmed casualty so far is the death of one person in the Belgorod area, while further details on damage or any additional victims have not been released.

The reported scale of the drone attack underlines Ukraine’s continued ability to strike targets deep inside Russia, including areas around Moscow. It also shows how the war is increasingly affecting Russian border regions and the capital region itself.
