MTV’s channels are set to reappear on Elisa’s Viihde platform and in its cable TV offerings on Friday, after the two companies reached an agreement to end a dispute that had lasted for months.

The return will happen automatically, so Elisa customers do not need to do anything themselves. Yle News reported that the deal restores access without any separate steps from viewers.

The agreement closes a prolonged disagreement that affected how MTV’s channels were available through Elisa’s services. For customers, the immediate change means the channels should be back in place on Friday.
