A security camera in Korso, Vantaa, recorded a powerful lightning strike that hit a tree only about 10 metres from a residential building. The event was marked by a strong thunderous bang.

According to Ilta-Sanomat, the strike was clearly visible on the camera footage, and its close proximity to the building made the incident stand out. Based on the confirmed information, it was an isolated strike, and no further damage has been reported.
