Artificial intelligence is making cyber deception easier than ever, according to data security expert Mikko Hyppönen. Speaking to Yle News, he said the threat is no longer limited to technical attacks, because scam messages can now sound far more believable.

Hyppönen pointed especially to Finnish-language scams. In his view, AI can already write Finnish better than most Finns, which makes fraudulent emails and messages harder to detect and raises the bar for online caution.
