Helsinki Pride is introducing a lifetime confidentiality obligation into its employment contracts. Under the new practice, sharing confidential information could lead to a contractual penalty equal to six months’ salary.

According to Yle, that would mean a bill of more than 20,000 euros. The change affects the organisation’s staff and highlights how strongly event organisers may want to protect internal information. It is not yet clear exactly what information the clause will cover in practice.
