Heavy weekend rain has damaged several gravel roads in Central Finland, causing collapses and flood-related damage. According to Yle, most of the affected roads have already been repaired, but one road is still closed to traffic.

Gravel roads are especially vulnerable when rainfall is intense, and the damage can quickly disrupt local travel. While the situation has largely been brought under control, the remaining closure shows that repair work is still continuing.
