A young flight instructor drew the words “I am bored” in the sky over Liverpool on Saturday, turning a routine flight into an unusual public spectacle. The aircraft’s path was tracked on Flightradar, where the looping route stood out clearly.

The flight was carried out in a Ravenair Piper Tomahawk and was described as a test flight after maintenance. The instructor remained airborne for about two hours, and the attention came largely from the distinctive shape traced overhead.
