Finland’s president has called on Elon Musk to allow Ukraine to use Starlink satellite internet services inside Russian territory, according to Yle News. At present, those connections are not available to Ukraine in that area.

The request highlights the role of satellite communications in the war, where access to reliable internet can affect military coordination and civilian communication. Yle News reported the appeal on Thursday, but it was not immediately clear whether Musk had responded.
