Several errors were found in one of this spring’s national selection exams used for admissions, including at Helsinki University. The mistakes may have caused some applicants to be denied a study place on incorrect grounds.

Helsinki University has expressed regret over the situation. It is still unclear how many applicants may be affected or whether any admission decisions will need to be reviewed.
