A child has drowned at a swimming hole in Kempele, in northern Finland, according to Yle News. The municipality has now closed the site’s diving tower as it reviews safety arrangements after the latest tragedy.

The accident is the second fatal incident at the same location in two years. Yle News reported that an adult man drowned there last year, raising fresh questions about safety at the popular swimming spot.
