U.S.-based Chaos Industries and Finnish company Insta have launched a joint effort aimed at developing solutions for Finland’s drone defence. Announced on Thursday, the project is focused on how to respond more quickly and more coherently to threats from unmanned aircraft.

According to the companies, the goal is to integrate Chaos radars and other detection and effect capabilities into Insta’s air-defence command systems. The background is a growing recognition that drone incursions expose gaps that no single state can solve alone.
