Eleven rescue units were dispatched to Vihti on Friday evening after clothes were found at a beach. The alarm later turned out to be false, but the response still tied up significant emergency resources.

According to the rescue service, this is not an isolated incident. Officials are now urging people not to leave clothes at beaches, saying the practice repeatedly leads to unnecessary callouts across the country.
